This sculputral bench and legs are made from 6” slabs of Black Cassiar Jade cut from a 7 ton boulder. The “natural” backrest was actually a portion of of Jade that remained intact when the boulder was field cut in the Cassiar Mountain range of British Columbia, Canada. The small flower basin softens the raw nature of the rugges weathered boulder to give the work a simples and understated elegance.
